What are WPT Farm Games? 

 

WPT Farm Games is an endurance race event. In this event, running/walking meets obstacles designed to test physical strength, mental grit, and camaraderie!

How old do I have to be to participate?

​

Participants for WPT Farm Games must be 16 years old or older.

 

Can I participate if I am not an active person?

 

Farm Games is open to people of all fitness levels. You don't have to be a super-macho athlete to participate. The main focus of the race is to have a personal challenge and to overcome obstacles, rather than competing for the fastest time. 

 

No one gets left behind. The event is designed to foster a supportive and encouraging environment, where participants help and motivate each other throughout the course.

Can I come watch Farm Games if I am not participating?

Of course! WPT Farm Games will be spectator friendly and friends/loved ones are encouraged to attend.

Can I participate if I'm not a WPT patient?

​

Oh yeah! Farm Games are for ALL!

 

What is the course going to be like?

 

While the course will not be finalized until the day of the event, possible obstacles may include but are not limited to:

 

• Pasture hill walk/run

• Hay bale carry (various sizes/weights)

• Hay bale obstacle course/climb (easy and hard choice)

• Log obstacles (easy and hard choice)

• Fence climb (possibly)

• Manure shoveling (1 scoop)

• Tractor mount/dismount (photo op for all participants)

• Motorcycle fire jump (Probably not)

 

While some obstacles may require a higher level of fitness or upper body strength, there will be alternatives to meet everybody's fitness level.

What happens after the event?

​

After the event, there will be a party held at the WPT clinic right up the street. There will be music, pizza, burgers, and beer. You do not need to be a Farm Games participant to attend. 

​

Will WPT be raising money for charity?

​

All proceeds from the event will be given to From Alex with Love. 

 

When do I need to arrive at the farm games?

 

Please arrive at the event at least an hour early from the 2:00pm start time. This will ensure there will be ample time to warm up and attend the pre-race briefing.
