Patrick Dumais, DPT
Physical Therapist

Patrick graduated from Shenandoah University in 2020 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to Shenandoah, he earned his B.S. in Health Sciences from Marymount University in Arlington, Va. At Marymount Patrick was a 4-year member of their Div. III basketball program. Patrick spent the last 11 years living in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington D.C. He recently moved to Pennsylvania with his wife Hannah, who is a native of Westmoreland County, PA.
Patrick is a firm believer in the WPT approach of holistic patient-centered care. “I was drawn to WPT because they provide one-on-one individualized treatment, unlike many conventional PT clinics. When developing a treatment plan my patient’s goals are my top priority. I want my patients to be active participants in their treatment by asking questions and knowing that their concerns and input are valued.”
Patrick’s desire to help bridge the gap between rehab and sports performance has prompted him to pursue the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA, which he plans to have completed in 2021. Patrick’s main areas of focus are orthopedics, sports performance/rehab, and chronic pain. He enjoys treating patients of every age and background. Patrick is excited for the opportunity to serve Western Pa and provide quality patient care.
